A milestone in sheet metal processing: ACCURL has officially inaugurated its cutting-edge Smart Factory at its headquarters in Ma'anshan, eastern China. During the grand opening, several European ACCURL dealers received Awards for outstanding brand and sales achievements.

With the launch of the new Smart Factory, ACCURL sends a strong signal for the future of intelligent manufacturing. The investment of approximately €38 million creates a production environment that integrates digital manufacturing, smart technologies, and green energy.

Production area of over 65,000 square meters

The new facility spans more than 65,000 square meters and is designed to produce around 1,000 high-end systems annually – including laser cutting machines and CNC press brakes. Thanks to energy-saving and low-emission processes, the Smart Factory will reduce significant amounts of CO₂ and other emissions each year, setting new sustainability standards for the industry.

Cameron Lee, CEO of ACCURL, emphasized the significance of the day at the opening ceremony:

Entering a new era of smart manufacturing

“This Smart Factory represents the start of a new era for sheet metal processing. ACCURL creates optimal conditions for innovation, which will also benefit our customers all over Europe,” says ACCURL Europe Managing Director Johannes Ried, who attended the grand opening on-site together with his fellow Managing Director Igor Mikulina.

ACCURL impressively demonstrated at the event that innovation is more than a buzzword: numerous new system models premiered, showcasing the continuous advancement of state-of-the-art technologies for sheet metal processing. The presented systems feature high-precision control, energy-efficient drive concepts, and intelligent automation solutions that not only accelerate production but also elevate quality to a new level. With these innovations, ACCURL reinforces its role as a technological pioneer, offering dealers forward-looking solutions for the demands of an increasingly digitalized manufacturing world.

The grand opening was an international celebration: distributors and suppliers from around the globe joined representatives of the Chinese government to mark the beginning of a new era of smart manufacturing together with ACCURL.

A special highlight: as part of the festivities, several European ACCURL dealers were honored: MicroStep Europa – responsible for the German speaking countries – with the “Global Brand Builder Award”. TUWI, the ACCURL dealer of Benelux, received the “Sales Leadership Award”. The Norwegian retailer Meidell was delighted to receive the "Market Innovation Award" and the company Axe Status, responsible for Great Britain and Ireland, received the "Ambassador Award".  Cameron Lee thanked the winners warmly: “These awards are a recognition for the support in successfully establishing the ACCURL brand in Europe and building a strong market presence.”
